Originally from Anchorage Alaska Daniel Robinson was raised in Hillsboro, Oregon. He performed as an actor and singer all over the west coast starting at the age of 11. In his last year of High School he joined Dance West, a pre-professional dance company, as a principle dancer under the Direction of the acclaimed choreographer and performer Julane Stites. After graduation he attended the UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA for dance with the superb training of Susan Quinn, Sam Watson, Melissa Lowe, Jory Hancock, Mia Michaels and James Clouser. Daniel then made his way to New York City to attend the AMERICAN MUSICAL AND DRAMATIC ACADEMY. In 2002 he joined the European tour of GREASE and in 2004 starred as Will Parker in the first national tour of the Broadway revival of OKLAHOMA! In 2006, his dream came true as he made his Broadway debut in HAIRSPRAY in the role of Fender and as the understudiy for Link Larkin and Corny Collins. After Hairspray closed on Broadway he joined the tour of HAPPY DAYS as Potsie Weber and understudied the role of the Fonz
In 2009 Daniel launched his movie career starring in the feature Film, THE BIG GAY MUSICAL, in the roles of Paul and Adam. 2010 will be two more milestones in Daniel’s career. He will be starring in two feature films and directing both a national commercial for a leading Fashion magazine, GAZELLAND and a documentary about BROADWAY BARES. Daniel resides in New York City where he continues to create and inspire.
